As a content creator at IEL, I disseminate research-based information about early learning to a wide audience of families and early childhood educators.
As a committee member of the PPC, I work on initiatives associated with pre-service and in-service EI/ECSE teacher education.
Working together, my colleagues and I developed and launched the first Montessori doctoral program in the world.
My service to the field includes supporting the creation of the first formal standards to focus on EI/ECSE teacher preparation.
I supported non-traditional working teachers to achieve their BA in Early Childhood through coursework, fieldwork, and advising.
I supported AMS in developing a professional development endorsement, helping Montessori teachers to better include children with disabilities and delays in their classrooms.
After learning from the curriculum I created with Catherine Corr, CASA volunteers were better able to serve foster children who have, and are at risk of, disabilities and/or developmental delays.
Supported AMS in maintaining the history of Montessori in the U.S. and growing the archives.
