Natalie Danner, Ph.D.

Montessorian. Teacher Educator. Inclusion Advocate.

AMS Research Committee (2021-current)

As a member of the AMS Research Committee, I am committed to fueling, funding, and finding high-quality research that strengthens the existing body of knowledge about Montessori education.

I also serve as the Chair of the AMS Research Mini-Grant Subcommittee.
AMS Resources for Research
In this role, I support AMS in soliciting, evaluating, and funding research proposals for Montessori research. I communicate with and respond to queries from researchers across the country and internationally with interest in Montessori education. I work with a small group of subcommittee members each year to evaluate proposals for quality and make determinations.  With input from the group, I have created tools to support researchers in the grant process including a mini-grant template and policy language about the mini-grant.
